Testimonials
For the last forty years as a professional concert violinist and teacher I have come into contact with countless violins, from lowly $300 student instruments to those of the highest calibre.
I have recently purchased a Kreisler violin from Virtuoso Strings. I was immediately struck by the beauty of the craftsmanship. Then my very favourable first impression was soon to be reinforced by the quality of the sound that could be produced. I found that the evenness from the open G to the highest notes on the E string most unusual and extremely satisfying, especially for such a new instrument. And I can assume that the sound can only improve and mellow as it is "played in", a process I am presently enjoying!
In my opinion this instrument represents for me excellent value for money and I heartily recommend the range at Virtuoso Strings to anyone searching for a beautiful instrument at a very reasonable price.

Thank you for your impressive service and speed in getting my daughters new violin sent out. We placed the order on Sunday afternoon (9/11), and it was here at 8am Tuesday, which, given we live at a Rural Delivery address especially, was very fast! Many thanks.
My daughter (Jessica) is delighted with her new violin, and her teacher is also impressed at the quality and sound of the instrument, especially for a relatively cheap violin. He commented that he will now be recommending your Corelli violins for any new students he takes on. We’ll be back in touch for a ¾ size violin at some stage.

I've bought two instruments for my daughters from Virtuoso Strings, which are both well set-up and possess quality sound for their respective sizes. Properly set-up instruments are the most important factor for a young student, where incorrect angles of neck, strings, etc, can lead to big problems later in life.

The violin arrived today I tried to ring you to say how thrilled I am with it! I couldn’t believe the response and sound it gives. I will be talking with the other two parents about it this week to show how great they are and size it against the children. It makes such a difference in teaching, if only all my other students would get one too. Many thanks.

The violin arrived last Monday in very good order and almost perfectly in tune! I've had a great week playing with it and getting to know its 'personality'. Right off the bat I enjoyed the richness of the lower end. I think the higher end is going to develop a lovely sweetness too. A Sinfonia colleague tried it and labelled it "ridiculously easy to play" - and I agree; it's very easy to get around the instrument, and very responsive to the bow. I lead a small community orchestra and the players sitting behind me told me how they are able to hear me more than they used to. And the big sound is effortless. I can't wait to try it out with the Sinfonia when rehearsals for our next concert start in a week or so. I really like the Vision Titanium strings, but might try experimenting the next time I change strings, just to see how the instrument responds.
Thank you very much for your thoughtful - and helpful! - service. It's only now that I have such a lovely violin that I can appreciate what hard work I was making out of playing my old violin. I'm actually finding myself looking for excuses to get the violin out for a play. :-)
